PGIN offers more job hiring thru online job portal
The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte’s (PGIN) Public Employment and Service of Office (PESO) continues to provide more employment opportunities to Ilokano job seekers through its “Work IN” job portal.
Launched on April 8, “Work IN” aims to help job seekers and employers in Ilocos Norte by advertising open vacancies in government-approved businesses and agencies.
Among the urgent jobs needed to be filled include skills workers, specifically plasterers, steelmen, painters, heavy equipment spotters, laborers, tile-setters, carpenters, and scaffolders , who will be working under the “Big 3” projects of the Provincial Government.
“Bukas para sa lahat ang mga trabahong ito lalo na sa mga displaced and unemployed OFWs, pati na rin sa mga Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) graduates natin. Kailangan lang nilang mag-apply through our “Work IN” website (workin.ilocosnorte.gov.ph) at doon na ipasa ang kailang mga resumes at requirements. In the future, kung gusto nilang mag-apply pa ng ibang trabaho, makakatanggap sila ng notification tungkol sa mga ibang job openings dito sa probinsiya,” PESO Manager Ms. Lizette Bitancor-Atuan said.
To date, job seekers can find over 1,400 vacancies on its newly launched “WorkIN” portal.
The Provincial Government, under its partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Science and Technology, and TESDA, remains committed to further promoting livelihood skill training program among Ilokanos. – Stewart C. Ocampo, PGIN-CMO
